The Fayetteville-Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce has partners throughout the area concerned with helping businesses start, succeed, and grow.

To that end, the Chamber encourages anyone looking to start a business or expand their business to seek out any of the following organizations for their assistance.

The Women's Center of Fayetteville is a regional and community advocacy and resource center for men and women.  The Center offers Education and Job Skills training such as GED Classes, Interview Skills  and Resume Workshops; Business Ownership training for business planning and expansion, credit/loan counseling, and other specialized training; and, Home Ownership workshops and counseling.

The Small Business Center at FTCC offers a variety of services to help existing businesses grow and serve first time entreprenuers. The center can provide counseling and offers a multitude of different classes and seminars from starting a business to growing you business through marketing or applying for SBA loans. The City of Fayetteville Community Development office offers several programs to help local business: the downtown loan program, the business assistance program, and the facade improvement grant program. More information can be found HERE




The mission of the FBC is to promote economic development in the City of Fayetteville and the Murchison Road corridor by providing  business assistance to entreprenuers and business incubation opportunities for small business growth.

The NC Small Business and Technology Development Center is part of the The National Small Business Development Center, which was founded on the premise of leveraging higher education resources for the benefit of the business community. SBTDC specialists provide management counseling and educational services to small and mid-sized businesses throughout North Carolina. For contact information, click HERE.







Sandhills SCORE is a chapter of SCORE "Counselors to America�s Small Business", a nonprofit association comprised of 10,500 volunteer business counselors throughout the U.S. and its territories.
Sandhills SCORE has both retired and active business people who have significant experience in the ownership, operation and/or management of both small and large businesses in many fields. Our members are committed to small business and donate their time and expertise to provide counseling and mentoring to men and women who wish to start businesses or build existing businesses.
